New Pictures
"Grandma, here we come!" The kids had their first real sleepover at my mom's the other day. So, we packed their bags, and they were carrying them around ready to go. They did really well without us. Actually, I don't even think they missed us.
Here's Chachi in her new Christmas pj's from Grandma Cookie, and apparently she thinks that ornament is a cookie.
I was putting dishes in the dishwasher, and Chachi was playing in cupboards, like usual, and I went over to see what she was doing, and first she was standing in the pot, and then she sat in it, and got stuck. Good thing she was stuck so I could grab the camera. Chachi stew for dinner anyone?
Here are the drinking buddies. Are mine the only kids that go through juice like no other? I think we need a bigger juice budget!
Fisher's trying to restrain Chachi for the picture, he looks pretty proud of himself. This was at Carl's grandma's Christmas party. We had a really fun time, and lots of yummy food. It was nice, all of the grandkids, except Chachi and Coby were big enough to just play together. Fisher loves playing with his cousins.

Christmas Time is Here!
Here's our beautiful Christmas tree. Fisher helped put the tinsel on, as you can see. He had a lot of fun decorating it, and watching Carl put on the lights.
This was the USU football game on the 29th. It was a lot of fun. Everyone was there but my mom, we missed you mom!
This was at IHOP after picking out our Christmas trees. Fisher adopted himself into the Olsen family.
Here were the rest of us at the other table. It was sure fun to be with everyone the whole weekend.
Here we are picking out our Christmas trees. We got some good ones this year! Me and the Olsens had been up since 5:00 shopping, it was fun, but I'm definitely not going to Walmart next year, I'm not even going to look at their ad! We went out to Cabela's too later that day - it was pretty fun, Fisher loved the animals, but Chachi just wanted to walk around the whole dang store. I managed not to get any pics of Thanksgiving day, but it was a great day.

Happy Thanksgiving
Since Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and I'm feeling quite grateful for everything that I have, I thought I would do a post on how thankful I am for a great husband and father of my children. He is so good with them, and they love to have him home. This is their favorite game to play, the kids get so excited. This video was taken kind of at the end of their playing, so Carl is a little tired. It also shows you how good Chachie is walking. It was so funny the other day, Carl was at work, and Fisher was looking around for him, so I told him he was at work, and Fisher says, "Ugh, work and scouts!" in this angry growly voice. It was so funny - it's true though, if Carl is gone, it's usually to work or scouts. Anyways, I don't know if you'll see this, but we love you Carl! I hope everyone has a happy, safe, and grateful Thanksgiving tomorrow!

Pig tails and puddles
Here's Fisher by a tower Carl made - his favorite part is knocking them down!
Here's Fisher in his cute Home Depot apron (courtesy of Afsonai).
Here are Ainsley's very first pig tails - they were very cute, but, from the front she didn't look any different. It was easier to do her hair than I had imagined it would be. Gotta love seat belts and suckers!
We went out after it rained to jump in the puddles - By the time we got out there though, there was only one decent puddle left. Oh well, it was pretty cold, and he didn't want to stay out too long anyway.

Happy Birthday Chachi!
This is what Ainsley looks like a lot of the time - it's hard being one! Okay, not a lot of the time, just when she falls, wants to be held, or Fisher does something to upset her.
This is Ainsley's birthday cake - she loved it! It was chocolate inside, and she ate the whole piece! Thanks again to Wendi for getting it for her!

Happy Halloween!
We went to Boo at the Zoo - at Willow Park Zoo. It was pretty fun. Everyone thought their costumes were so cute, and as you can see, they are. Thanks to Laura I got a great deal on them. I can't wait for Halloween! At the zoo, Fisher just wanted to eat the candy, and not put it in his bucket. He's got a lot to learn.
Ainsley's been taking more steps lately, it won't be long now. And she loves to crawl up the stairs - as if my job wasn't hard enough. I have a video of her walking, I'll have to post it a little later.

Cute pictures
Fisher decided that the binky looked fun. So, instead of having him take Ainsley's all the time. I gave him this one, cause it has covers that close over the nipple, and Chachi can't figure it out. Anyways, he thinks it's a pretty fun toy.
Fisher playing with Thomas. What cute kids!
Alright, so I know I've mentioned before how crazy Fisher sleeps, but this was just the weirdest. He never sleeps straight like this. It kinda freaked me out, cause he looks like he's dead. The pale face, and juice-stained lips don't help.
Chachi likes the beaters! I was making that yummy fruit salad with the vanilla pudding, buttermilk and cool whip, and well, she's hooked! What a face!
I had to do something, so here's Chachi in the high chair with a sucker. What a good mom I am. At least she's happy, and contained in one place, right?
Fisher was nice enough to pose for me - what a cutie!

The best and worst hunting trip ever!
This was our cute little campspot. It was SO fun!
This was at the beginning of the trip, we stopped in Vernal to see the temple. Fisher learned how to say "Angel Moroni" It was pretty fun to see it.
Here is inside the Dinasour park museum. This was really fun, a little too old for Fisher, but we enjoyed it.
Here is Ainsley getting warm with Grandma, it was pretty cold there. Does anyone else think of Alien when you see this picture?
Here is Fisher in his fairly clean blanket - by the end of the trip it was very dirty. He insisted on carrying it everywhere! In fact he's carrying it around right now, after many washes.
This was our fun picnic by Hacking Lake. After lunch we hiked around the lake to do a little fishing, however, Carl twisted his ankle, and that was the end to his great hunting trip.
So, for me it was one of the best hunting trips, because Carl didn't get to go very often, and could stay with us, and do more 4-wheeling, but for Carl it was the worst hunting trip because he couldn't walk, let alone chase down a deer. And he didn't even see one buck the whole time. Also, the truck was leaking oil for the last part of the trip, but luckily when we were in Vernal they could stop the leaking in order for us to get home, but the kids had had it by then and were all but unbearable on the ride home. So, I think that is the end to family hunting trips!

Messy faces and fun places!
My favorite times of the trip were when the babies were sleeping!
This was just one of the beautiful sunsets that we saw as we were coming in from the lake.
This is one of my favorite pictures - Fisher is totally lounging by the fire, Caprisun in hand - what a spoiled little boy!
Ah, peace. We love life jackets because they keep our babies safe, however, we hate them because they keep our babies screaming.
Messy face #1 - this was on the way home from church, we got ice-cream cones, and this is what we found when we got back to the campsite - serves us right for breaking the sabbath.
Messy face #2 - this was in the boat, she decided now was a good time to LOVE nilla wafers!
Fisher helping Grandpa drive the boat - I think he loved this activity more than almost anything else on our trip.
Messy face #3 - you can't really see it, but she is chowing down on Carl's ice cream or popcicle or whatever it was that we paid a fortune for at the marina. I loved the butterfly sunglasses on her too, but she did not love them so much.
What a sweet girl! You too Ainsley. If any Coast Guard officials are reading this, just notice that she is asleep, and not that she isn't wearing her life jacket.
Oh, my favorite trips are at Flaming Gorge! I love it there, I can't wait for next year!
